Happy Thanksgiving!

Cool Colby had a blast playing ball with all of his cousins!

The boys got themselves giant plates of dessert and found a little place for themselves to eat it! Such smart little boys!

Tasty!

Fortunately I knew they were in good hands with the Hartman girls who always keep a great eye on my boys.

The boys love hanging out with the girls too, who wouldn't? They're beautiful AND fun!

My beautiful mom was so gracious to host Thanksgiving as she does every year. She's so wonderful!

My two idols - my mom and my Bob.

I'm so thankful for my amazing husband and all of the things God has blessed us with since our first date 9 1/2 years ago.

There is nothing I love more than spending time with my family (and eating amazing food!)

After the Thanksgiving festivities Chasey was pooped!

Visitor...

Bauer started barking so Jason looked out to see what he was barking at...we couldn't believe this giant buck was in our back yard. I am so proud of my husband for capturing this moment, he is well trained :D

Let the Christmas Festivities Begin!

I've been begging Jason since Halloween to put up our Christmas decorations. He finally said yes!

This year I had two little helpers (last year they were more interested in climbing in and out of the boxes)

Christmas grin!

My sweet Chasey Baby.

This is what happens when you ask Chasey to make a happy face...

He schrunches his head into his neck, sticks out his tongue...

...and puts his hands in his armpits (I have no clue what that is all about!)

Colby's in serious Christmas mode now!

There is my happy boy!

contemplative Colby

This is what happens when you ask Colby to make a happy face, his lips make a smile but there are no dimples and his eyes get all squinty.

Snugs for bro.

The boys are definitely feeling the excitement of Christmas!

Does this face say, 'merry Christmas' or what?!

First Snow!

For anyone that doesn't live in Colorado, we usually have a blizzard or two by the middle of October (it's not unusual to see snow in September)...this year has been different. It is November 15th and it's our first snow and it's only a little dusting. I am in heaven, I do not like snow, don't like being cold, don't like my plans being ruined by bad roads, don't like wet shoes, don't know how I am a Colorado native. It was exciting for the boys to watch and I didn't mind too much because it was only just a little. I am trying to mentally prepare myself for the spring , I have a feeling we'll get hammered.

Ready for School

I just love these lips.

I can't get enough of Colby's dimples. Neither can his teacher who comments on them everyday.

I was always taught that you dress sharp so your brain is sharp. And that is what I teach Colby. When we go to preschool we always wear nice clothes. We actually had a few minutes this morning to take a few pictures (usually I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and we're usually there in the nick of time). The boys are watching what I refer to as 'tractor tv'. They are doing construction behind our house and while I am sad to see the open space go I am glad that people have work and are able to buy homes in this really slow economy. Mostly I am glad that the construction is happening now, when I have two little boys who love nothing more than to watch tractors work hard. It has been fascinating for me too. I can't believe how quickly these men are working. Jason is just hoping that the homes will block the wind so our fire pit works even better :D

Bauer

This is Bauer's human pose

Bauer, wrestling with Colby (he can definitely hold his own!)

Lettin' it all hang out, Bauer style.

Tackle football with a German Shepherd.

More football with my three boys.

Chasey giving Bauer snugs.

A very loved dog.

Snuggle Time.
We really couldn't ask for more in a dog than what Bauer has added to our family. He makes us laugh, he's very affectionate, he loves his people. He follows us everywhere and loves being a part of the family. When I am giving the boys a bath he will lay outside of the bathroom, when we are taking a shower he will lay right outside of the shower, as I am typing this he is laying at my feet. He puts up with the boys and does it with a wagging tail. We are very blessed to have him!

Happy Birthday Gram!

This expression is Colby's way of saying, 'I am so excited I can hardly stand it!'

You know it's going to be great when Colby gets his excitement on!

These boys love cake and candles, doesn't even matter if it's their cake and candles as long as they can be a part of the celebration.

Gram loves these boys!

Happy b
