Felix has an enemy

Felix is the most friendly cat but for some reason he has never liked Jason's friend, Chad. As soon as Chad walks into the house Felix races into our bedroom and if Chad even barely approaches Felix freaks out! It's so weird because Chad is the nicest guy and he really does like cats!

Kiwi loves floor time!

Colby likes to spend a little time on the floor just kicking around, that is Kiwi's favorite time of day. She comes over to play too. You've got to love Colby's giant thighs and his skin tight onsie..guess it's time to move up to the next size.

Colby loves the sling!

Thanks to Leah we were able to test drive a sling for Colby. The verdict is in and it's a hit! It's great! I can wear it comfortably to walk but also nurse in it. What a super invention. Thanks Leah!

Thanks Hudnalls!

Colby had on his spiffy new outfit from the Hudnalls (amazing, we actually had a day cold enough we needed to bust it out!) and I just had to snap a pic. Those pants are so soft and cozy!

Poor sick baby

Poor Colby, as soon as we got home he started not feeling well. You know if I can get him to sleep in his crib than something is wrong. We took him to urgent care on the 28th and they diagnosed him with a fever. By the 29th he was much worse and I had to bring him to the emergency room. He had blood work drawn, a catheter for a urine specimen and a chest x-ray all because his fever was 103.4 everything came back negative and he was diagnosed with an ear infection. It's now the 30th and he is really fussy (not like himself at all) but his fever is not quite as high. Poor baby. All of that fun we had in Colorado! Despite not feeling well he still managed to play with my braids. He just loves to grab at stuff now!

Dream Traveler

Of course we woke up to a ton of snow the morning we were supposed to leave. Amazingly our plane still departed on time. Colby was a dream. He slept through both flights.

Deep sea diving

Bob has the greatest sink in the world. Colby absolutely loves taking baths in it! It is the deepest sink I've ever seen. Since it was our last night everyone had to help give Colby a bath and he of course loved the attention. It was hard to say goodbye to everyone, having such a great family makes it even harder to leave home.

Last night

My mom brought over left overs and pork chops to Bob's house four our last supper at home, of course we had just left Jason's grandma's house where Jason's mom also made a really nice dinner for us. We managed to eat both meals though :D We spent some time comparing hand writing styles (Bob and Jason sware Tyler, my mom, Daniel and I write the wrong way) and of course playing with Colby. It was a perfect last evening.

Colby and Grandma

I just love this picture of Colby and Diane. And of course Colby had to meet the boxers.

Naked Baby

Colby just loves to be naked and he's so cute naked! I just had to take some pictures. Jase thought it would be a fun game to let Colby sit on his neck until he realized all of Colby's drool went straight onto his face!

Aunty Laura

Colby got to spend some quality time with his Aunt Laura and Godmom Jan. I am just kicking myself though because this was the only picture I got!

Silly Daddy!

Jason was more than happy to shovel Bob's driveway (mostly because he loves her snow blower). Of course he didn't have any snow gear so he had to improvise. :D

Christmas with Jason's Family

Despite the snow Jason was able to get our family safely to his Aunt Karen's house where Colby got to meet some more family for the first time. Unfortunately he was so exhausted from the Christmas adventures that he barely opened his eyes the whole time we were there. It sure didn't matter to little Kendal though! She thought he was just great! It was so cute to see how excited she was over Colby.

Christmas lunch

My mom was so nice to prepare this huge Thanksgiving meal (since Jason and I missed Thanksgiving) for Christmas lunch. It was even more special because Bob, Aunty Cindy, Roger, Brandon, Melissa, Dustin, Caleb and Mindy came too! Of course we had to rush off to the next stop but we had a few moments to enjoy a really special Christmas lunch and it was delicious!

Christmas photo session

Suska got Colby this super cute onsie, I just couldn't resist a few pictures with the santa hat on. Colby was cooperative :D but not super thrilled as you can tell.

Smiles for Suska

Jason's mom gave us this onsie, I just love it (Jason thinks it's too girly because it has a "sissy bear" on it). Colby's eyes look so pretty in it. Colby was enjoying some quality time smiling at Suska on this snowy Christmas morning.

Playing with the boys

Daniel and Jason bonded with the yoyo while Tyler tested out his new lizard leash (courtesy of Jason and I) with Kong. Kong seemed to tolerate it :D The boys got cell phones and Jason was trying to help activate them on the computer. Daniel has always been fascinated by hair texture and I don't think he's ever been able to touch someone with hair as short as Jason's so he was getting a feel for it. It was so cute! And of course Daniel had to spend some cuddle time with his little buddy. He just adores Colby.

Opening presents

It was so much fun to open presents with the boys. I don't think you fully get the experience of Christmas until you experience it through a child's eyes. Jason and I are so looking forward to future Christmas celebrations as Colby gets older. After all of the excitement the day before Colby was quickly fatigued but not until he got to play with some of his presents! He just loved the book Rose gave us, it is the Five Little Piggies, complete with a glove that has each of them on it! He absolutely loved it! Thanks Rose!
