Happy Birthday Mom!

I had the wonderful blessing of getting to go out to lunch with my mom and my amazing aunts and grandma to celebrate my mom's birthday (I was accompanied by my boys but they did really well). What a fun afternoon. It was a special time to celebrate the most wonderful mom in the world. I love you mom!

Oh Chasey...

At first glance you just see a cute little teddy bear, but if you look a little closer...
It's Chasey! Sneaking under his bed (bringing along his pillow, blanket and teddy bear) so he can have a little undisturbed paci time!

Dinner at Maggianos!

Thanks to Uncle Vince and Aunt Sue we had a delicious family meal at Maggianos (they gave us a gift certificate for Jason's graduation). The boys were good at first but eventually discovered the amazing world under the table. At first I was worried that I should make them sit in their seats but once I realized they were quite and not hurting anyone or anything under there I just pulled the table cloth down and Jase and I pretended we were on a romantic date. The waitress thought we were insane, I thought we were very clever! Adapt and Overcome! The things we do as parents!

Jason requested a fruit pizza, thankfully we had a police car hanging around to make the dessert complete!
Ash, Jason and Chasey (Colby wasn't in the mood for pictures)

I did find it quite humorous that I got a parking ticket at the police academy graduation!

Aunt Sue stopped by the graduation, it was so nice to see her!

Our blue collar family! The cop and the nurse!

Jason and his cousin, Jeremy...

Chasey wants to be a police officer just like Jason. He already puts on his tool belt and tells me, "I love you mama! I'm goin' to the police academy!"

Jason and his boys...

All of our friends and family that attended the graduation, my mom pointed out Jason had the most attendees! :D

Jason and Bob...Bob always knew Jason would be a great cop, you were right Bob...AGAIN!

Jason and his proud mom...

Jason and Walt Sr. (Walt says he just came so Jason will have to let him off if he pulls him over :D)

Jason and Ash, I am so very proud of my husband!

Here I am pinning on his badge. This isn't the first time I've done something like this, I also pinned on his Corporal chevrons when he was in the Marine Corps. It is such an honor to be a part of the huge accomplishments he's made in his life!

Jason getting his badge...

Jason got an award for the best shooting/marksmanship, he is such a brat...he knew he was getting it but didn't even tell me. When they announced his name during the ceremony I was shocked! He said he was smiling because he knew I would be so surprised. He recently had an inservice and had to shoot again, he scored 94% and 98%...better than his FTO!
We are so very proud of you Jc! This goal is something you've been working towards for over 2 years...and here you are! You will be a great cop! I love you!

Thank you Auntie Ling!!!!

Auntie Ling got these balls for the boys and they're AMAZING!! The boys are constantly "bounding" (what they call bouncing) around the house. Colby's ball even had to join us for breakfast. We have had so much fun with them! Thanks Auntie Ling!!!

Folding Laundry....

As soon as I get the laundry out of the laundry room and sit on the floor to fold it Bauer stops what he's doing and lays right on the spot I've cleared out for the laundry. He's so precious though! Resting in my lap...he knows just what to do to get to me!

My little ham...

Me and my boys...

Who would have thought, the coffee table drawer would be such a handy seat?!

Chasey is definately his mama's son! He loves taking pictures and is always ready for a kodak moment. Colby on the other hand needs to be in the mood!

Hanging with the boys...

There is nothing better than a day hanging with my boys! Chasey is sitting in the drawer of our coffee table, it's a miracle that thing is still in one piece!

Our little cowboy...

Chasey is very into his cowboy hat this week and tonight he insisted on wearing it to bed. Once he tried to lay down with it on and realized it wasn't very comfortable he agreed to just hold it instead. What a silly boy!

Where is Chasey???

I know, I know...Chasey is almost 2 1/2 it's way past time to kick the paci habit...I just can't do it. I only let him have it at bedtime and nap time, the paci is supposed to stay in his crib. When Chasey is tired and the house is extra quiet I can usually find him in his room with the paci that he somehow managed to get out of his crib. He is a resourceful little fella! He knows he's not supposed to have it so as soon as he sees me he'll quickly take it out of his mouth or cover his mouth with his hands so I won't see it...sneaky, sneaky little man!
