Darn Mosquitoes

Poor Chasey swells terribly with any mosquito bite. This is an example of what happens when he gets one little bite. Yikes, martian child! :D

Best Buds

When I think about all the stress of having two babies, just 13 months apart, the tears and the frustration...moments like this make it all worth it, moments like this are awesome reminders that God has a more devine plan and there is a purpose in everything!
(oh, and we were moving pieces of wood that we didn't need for the swing set to my parents house, I was just amazed we could fit it in the car!)

Go Broncos!

There was the opportunity to watch the Broncos practice today, despite working all night Jason still wanted to go. Not only is he a die hard Broncos fan but he is an amazing dad and knew it would be something the boys would enjoy.

Colby and Daddy, ready to watch the action!

There is my favorite player, Tim Tebow!

The boys loved it! The only challenge was reminding them that they couldn't  practice on the field, they wanted to be a part of the action!

Colby's view...not a great one, but still kept him occupied.

Chasey made himself right at home.

It was a fun and different way to spend the afternoon together, I must admit...I do love being a  boy mom!

Trash Day!!

Tuesdays are Colby's favorite day of the week. As soon as he hears those air breaks squeak he is on the driveway loading rocks into his own trash truck.

It is a big thrill for Chasey too! He is on his way back into the house, he forgot his trash truck!!

Chasey (our little ham) always has time to pose for a picture, Colby on the other hand is completely mesmerized.

We are so appreciative of our trash men and the hard work that they do. They are always so friendly to the boys too! Colby dreams to one day be a trash man too!

Family Dinner at the Outback...

I absolutely love Castle Rock, even the view from the Outback is beautiful.

While waiting for our food we decided to have a winking contest, in our family 'winkies' mean  I love you.

Colby can wink too!

Although, who needs winkies when you have such adorable dimples!

Pool Day...

The boys and I have become regulars at the Bradbury Ranch pool.

It's nothing fancy but has just what it takes for a great summer day.

These have become some of my favorite memories, watching the boys play together , completely content to be in the baby pool. I know these days won't last so I'm trying to make the most of them. It is also on these days that I am most appreciative of our beautiful Colorado summers.

So You Think You Can Dance?

The boys enjoy watching so you think you can dance and are especially fascinated with the results show. They like to hold hands and wait in anticipation for the results to be announced just like the contestants.

Big cheesy grin for the camera!

The winner is...Chasey, Colby got impatient with the long drawn out results reveal and moved on to better and more  entertaining things...like playing baseball.

Colby and Daddy spending some man time together playing XBox.
Two peas in a pod.

Hayley and I took our four boys to get some pretzels, apparently she was the only one listening when I said, 'smile!' At least someone listens to me!

Classic snack moment.

Gabe enjoyed his snack too!

Logan and Gabe, how we love the Hatch boys!

Colby and Chasey

We rinsed them off at the spray area (they built one into the sidewalk of the outdoor mall... genius!)

We love summer!

Little Cowboys

These boys love their uncles so much and are always observing and imitating the things their uncles do. Tyler is very much a cowboy these days, riding his horse daily and an avid hunter. The boys have become cowboys too, wearing their cowboy hats everywhere we go and constantly riding their stick horses. Colby named his, Tuxedo - just like Tyler's horse. Chasey named his Zeizeta - came up with that one all on his own!

Crazy Weather

We really don't get a whole lot of rain here in Colorado and if we do it lasts for 10 minutes and is done. On this particular day we got completely soaked! Unfortunately I was working and wasn't able to see it but my amazing husband thought to take the camera out and snap some pictures. I've never seen it rain like this before!

Five Year Anniversary!

For our five year anniversary Jason surprised me with a special night on the town. It included staying at Hotel Teatro, where we spent our wedding night.

Something our wedding suite did not offer was the amazing view...of the giant nose. Yes, here at this expensive hotel we look out to see beautiful Denver, Colorado and instead see a giant nose. Oh well!

Five years since our wedding day and 10 years and 3 months since our first date.

The hotel package came with dinner at our choice of two restaurants. At first we  decided to go to the more conservative restaurant, foods we recognized at prices we didn't choke on. We went to the restaurant, completely empty, no ambiance at all and within 5 minutes were regretting our decision. We developed this elaborate plan to tell the waitress that we had an emergency with the babysitter and had to leave. This involved a covert phone call and some acting in a very silent awkward situation...finally, we were out! We immediately ran around the corner and walked into the elaborate restaurant, laughing and feeling very certain we had pulled it off.

Immediately upon entering the host said, "Welcome Mr and Mrs. Weber, is everything ok with your children?"

BUSTED!!!! We both were completely horrified to realize the restaurants are managed by the same person.

We explained that we decided to really go out on the town and changed minds about which restaurant we wanted to eat at, they were completely understanding and teased us the rest of the night.

This was super fancy food, Top Chef kind of food. And such a fun experience!

It reminded me of our honeymoon when we were in the Dominican and the food was so amazingly terrible we took pictures so we would remember how unappetizing it was.

This food definitely looked and tasted more appetizing! And I'm happy to report we didn't get food poisoning like we did in the Dominican!

This got the Ashley stamp of approval!

This was a much better view than the giant nose, we got to see the Batmobile whiz by.

My favorite...dessert!

Both choices were divine!

This is my kind of restaurant, they shmooze you with chocolate (delivering it with the bill) you can bet we left a good tip!
Overall it was an amazing evening. So incredible for Jason and I to get away from everything and really just enjoy being together. I know it will sound totally cheesy but everyday we are together I thank God that I got to marry my best friend. I'm happy to say, after 10 years of being together and 5 years of dating, he is still the person I lean on, the one I laugh with and the one I love to spend my time with. I also want to say a big thank you to my parents who kept the boys for us, had the restaurant staff knew they were at Suka and Poppa's house they never would have believed our babysitter emergency! The only emergency that happens when the boys are at their house is they don't want to come home!
