It's good to have a brother...

It is so fun to watch the boys play together, they are truly best friends and their personalities compliment each other perfectly. God sure does know what he's doing!

Colby is two and a half!

My card reader isn't working on the computer (AGAIN!) so this post will be picture-less but I thought I would post an update on what Colby is doing now...
Size: He weighs 34.5 pounds! He is getting so tall and can now reach everything!
Food: Despite his size he is not a very good eater. I am lucky to get one meal in him a day. He loves drinking milk though! He will occasionally eat a granola bar or some pasta but generally it changes on a day to day basis. He doesn't have any favorite foods anymore which has become a challenge!
Likes: He loves being on the go, loves to go shopping especially when it's just mommy and him. He loves his banks, toot and car blankie (all names for special blankets). Still loves pup and his "little Woody" doll has become a favorite friend. He loves going to Suka's (my mom) house and loves to go to "Gram's" (the Egg and I where she works and spoils him rotten). He is still an avid reader and loves cars and trains. His favorite movies are Finding Nemo and Toy Story 2. He always asks me to sing for him (top requests being, This Little Light of Mine and the Toy Story Song) and loves it when I do Santa impressions. He absolutely adores his little brother and has started wrestling with him, so it begins!
Dislikes: He is just such an easy going kid that this is a really hard category. He still has a bit of stranger anxiety but is usually up for trying anything.
Speech: He is such a talker now! He says full sentences and has quite the vocabulary. He can also sing several songs including; Jesus Loves Me, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Jesus Loves the Little Children, The Wise Man Built His House, B-I-B-L-E and Ring Around the Rosy. He has become quite the little encourager. When I finish unloading the dishwasher he'll say (very enthusiastically) "Good Job Mommy!" He is also great about saying, "Bless You!" after someone sneezes. His manners come in waves. Sometimes he'll do great with using them other times he'll forget. His favorite things to talk about are Chasey and Dan Dan (my brother).
Motor: He is getting to be quite the climber and losing a little of that fear. He can now climb onto our counter height chairs and than on to the table or counter. He walks up stairs now (holding on to the rail of course) and will sometimes walk down them but usually schooches down on his buns. He loves to hop around. He is getting better in this department but still has earned the nickname, Cautious Colby.

I can't believe he is already two and a half. I can't imagine my life without him. It is amazing to see the reaction from people when he flashes his dimple laden smile and broken tooth! He is irresistible and super affectionate. Not a day goes by that he doesn't say, "I love YOU Mommy!" (with extra emphasis on the 'you' part!). We are so blessed!

Working Out...

The boys love helping us work out...

Play Day...

Just a typical play day at the Weber house full of kisses and smiles...

My new business...

I know a lot of you have received calls from me in the past few days about my new business but I just wanted to explain it a little more on my blog. I found Melaleuca because I needed a cream that would help Chasey with his eczema and someone mentioned Melaleuca's product, Renew. So I investigated...As I researched I found that Melaleuca has more than just eczema cream they have an entire line of wellness products from organic foods to soaps and lotions to nutritional supplements to cleaning products. Everything is all natural and non-toxic. The cleaning products don't even require child safety lids because they are completely safe. They also work better than what you find at the store. Instead of paying for advertising and marketing and retail locations they are referral based only so all the profit goes into making their products better. I am so excited about the company and the products I have decided to start my own business referring people that I care about to a company I believe in. Please check out the website and look at the prices for yourself. This company is also a Better Business Bureau company with an A+ rating for customer service and products. So I encourage you to check it out. If you're interested at all please give me a call and I will give you some more information. If it's something you would be willing to consider at all please let me know ASAP. My goal is to enroll 8 people by Sunday. There is no risk because the membership and products are 100% guaranteed and you can get your money back for up to 60 days after purchasing the products. It is not additional money out of your pocket it is simply switching stores, buying products you would purchase anyway just from a different store. Please check it out and if you're interested support me in my new business! Here is the website: www.melaleuca.com/ps
Thank you for looking and giving me a chance!!!

Train Show

We decided to take the boys to the Train Show in Denver. It was ok. Tons of model trains! It is crazy, we saw lots of toddlers and lots of old men and not really anyone in between.I did see an old man wearing a shirt that says, "I still play with trains" I didn't know there was a train club for kids and adults. Mental note to self...If the uniform for the club is a denim vest, think before joining...

I love Craig's List!!!

i found this beautiful pottery barn bunk bed listed for only $400, including new mattresses! On the PB Kids website the bed alone is $1400! The family that sold it to us were the nicest people and now have offered to GIVE us their custom built cedar swing set! What a blessing! God truly does have a purpose in everything he does. As you can see Colby loves the bed. It has a ladder to get up to the top but we're going to wait a few more years before we install that! There are also guard rails that go on the sides of the top bunk so kids don't fall out. It is beautiful and almost matches his dresser perfectly.

Silly Boys...

The boys looked like they were ready for the Olympics in their Nike gear (Colby calls it his Nikki clothes)...

Cousin Time!

We were blessed to have Auntie Melissa come over with cousins, Caleb and Sarah. They live in Texas but came to town because Uncle Dustin had a business meeting here in Denver. It was so fun to spend time with them! The kids all got along great and Melissa and I were able to get in some good chatting time. We miss you already Kelsey family!

Happy Valentine's Day to me...

Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday...it is NOT Jason's. He did a great job of helping me celebrate though and bought me some beautiful roses and wrote me a sweet note. I am so happy I get to be married to my Valentine!

Playtime...

We had the Egan kiddos over to play and it was a blast! The kids were great and really enjoyed playing together. It was the first time Chasey played ring around the rosey and he loved it so much he kept chasing the other kids trying to grab their hands to play again.

Snowy Day...

We had a little snow here the other day and the boys wanted to help daddy shovel. I wasn't able to get many pictures of Colby, he's a fast moving target! But Chasey was more than happy to be the subject of the camera...

Little Boy Chairs...

The boys absolutely love their chairs. Although I probably could have gotten away with buying one because they love to sit in one together!

Endless Free Entertainment...

Thank you God for whoever invented the vacuum, not only do I love the job it does but it has provided my kids with hours of entertainment. When they were newborns the sound soothed them to sleep and now that they are toddlers it has become their most favorite activity. They especially love it when I take all of the couch cushions off so they can vacuum underneath. I'm proud to say I have the cleanest, most crumb free couch on the planet!

Making Cookies...

I am a HUGE neat freak so the idea of the boys helping me bake was always a bit daunting but I decided to let loose and let them help. It was a BLAST! I had no idea how much the boys (especially Colby) would enjoy it. Colby was giggling and squealing with delight the entire time. He kept showing his little toy the dough saying, "See Lj? Makin cookies!" I wasn't going to let them eat the dough, pretty sure no one is supposed to eat raw cookie dough but I knew the eggs were fresh (from my mom!) so I let them indulge. They certainly enjoyed themselves. Jason was a little disapointed because he thought he would get to lick the beaters. When I told him he could lick the bowl he was ok with it though! It was an amazingly fun family day. I can't wait to bake with the boys again!
