Tuckered out Chasey...

Chasey hasn't been feeling too hot today...The one thing I LOVE about having a sick baby is all the snuggles! Here, Jason was capitalizing on those snuggles. You know Chase is pooped if he can doze off with his pesky older brother poking him!

We love Bob!

Bob came over to help me stuff the Easter eggs for our big celebration. As always the boys were thrilled to see her (as were Jason and I too, of course!) The boys just adore Bob and call her, affectionately, Bobbie...

Washing the cars...

It was a gorgeous day so the boys played in the cars while we washed them. Spring is on the horizon!

An overall kind of day...

I know it makes us look a little hick-ish but I still think the boys look so cute in overalls! I also had to take a picture of the letters hanging from my drawer pulls, Colby is discovering all of the magnetic surfaces in our house thanks to the leap frog letters and lack of magnetism on our fridge. It is always a mystery where those letters will turn up next!

(And don't worry...Colby was well supervised while playing with this bag!)

Nothing special day...

...with lots of photo ops! It's important to capture not only the momentous occasions but also the mundane and routine so they are always a part of our memory. Many of those memories and moments have become my favorites!

Snow Day!

We had a wonderful snow day and the boys and I thoroughly enjoyed it...from INSIDE the house! Jason also loved trying out his new snow blower (another Craig's List find!). Chasey insisted on wearing his snow boots all throughout the house and the boys had some snuggle time with daddy, Chase combined this with helping daddy by picking his nose. This was my perfect kind of snow because it looked beautiful coming down and melted quickly. We are SO ready for spring though!

Decorating Easter Cookies

Auntie Cindy was so sweet and thoughtful and brought over a Easter cookie decorating kit. Let's just say the decorating didn't turn out quite like I thought it would. The boys ate more than they decorated and tasted every single cookie. Needless to say, I decided not to serve these at our Easter celebration!

Nothing beats a giggle...

Please ignore Colby picking his nose in the background...oh boys... Here are a few of Chasey's words. The entire time I was filming he was looking at himself in the camera at the end he says, "baby!" as he's pointing to himself. That silly boy!

Doctor Chasey...

Chasey loves the stethoscope that Quentin and Jenny gave the boys for Christmas, maybe there is a future in medicine...

Fisherman Colby...

Colby LOVES this little fisherman hat even though it is sizes too small. It is so funny to see the moments that Colby thinks are appropriate to to wear it. Just happens that tonight he thought he needed to wear it while he was reading stories and getting ready for bed.

Chasey's Stick Horse...

I don't know how Chasey got the idea to ride our dirty mop like a stick horse but it provided hours of entertainment! This came just after my mom asked if we wanted any of my old stick horses. I told her 'no' because I imagined the boys using them as golf clubs or sticks to beat each other with...guess we'll be taking those stick horses off of her hands after all!

Bandaids...

Ahhh...the endless joys of bandaids!

Brothers...

In the past few months the boys have really started interacting with each other (both good and bad!). It is so cute to watch their little conversations...

Happy Boys...

It is so hard to get a picture of the boys together but Jason figured out how...tie them down with a blanket! (The games that daddies come up with!)

More fun at the park...

We just love going to the park and never go without having a few photo opportunities!

My poor tupperware...

I just don't think the makers of Rubbermade intended for a 27 pound little boy to sit on it this way! He sure was enjoying himself though!
