New Baby

Jason and I were suprised to hear that we are going to have two kiddos! It was the shock of a lifetime let me tell you! I had to have an ultrasound to see how far along I was, this was done in February when I was 9 weeks pregnant. I just kept looking at that baby thinking, 'who told you you could go in there!' I am 14 weeks pregnant today and reality is starting to sink in (as my tummy is starting to expand). It is going to be busy but I know God planned it this way for a reason. We are due September 27th (Daniel's birthday!) and Jason will be home by than so we are truly blessed for that!

Big Boy Pj's

My friend Stacy was kind enough to give me some summer clothes and jamies that her son Landon grew out of last summer. Colby has suddenly outgrown almost all of his pj's so we had to put them on. I think he looks like such a big boy because the top isn't a onsie it's a real shirt! And he has to wear big boy socks too. It's not Colby if we don't have a picture that has him doing something funky with his tongue in it so that's why I included the last picture.

Smiles for Daddy

Jason was complaining that it had been too long since I took pictures and posted them on the blog (he is very demanding what can I say!) so Colby and I decided to do an impromptu photo shoot. Colby was very cooperative and we got some great smiles. Now you can really see his teeth!

Easter Basket Fun!

My mom was so sweet to make Colby an Easter basket...complete with Pooh candy (this was a big step for my mom because she's never been a Pooh fan but Colby just loves the theme song so she thought he needed some Pooh stuff in his Easter basket too). Colby loved everything as you can see!

More Easter Pics...

Despite not having a nap Colby was full of giggles and smiles the entire evening, we made the most of it and took tons of pictures!

Happy Easter!

We had a fantastic and very busy Easter this year. We started out the morning at my parents to see the boys open their Easter baskets, than we headed to Bob. Sandi was a cooking machine and made deviled eggs, 12 different kinds of cookies, rolls, spinach dip and tons more (everything you see on that table in front of her!). We were all well fed thanks to her! Than we headed up to Turco Easter which was hosted at my Aunt Marie's house. Nolan was there (he is exactly three months older than Colby but about half his weight and size) and the boys had quite a time together. Colby was entertained and happy to have a buddy and Nolan enjoyed patting Colby's head (which Colby seemed to enjoy too!).

March Maddness

Colby LOVES basketball and Bob loves any sports so they were watching the KU game (his Daddy would be SO proud!). Bob was just amazed at the way that Colby really is interested in watching basketball. As soon as it came on he couldn't pull his eyes away!

More Colby giggles

Colby was full of laughs today! I thought of Jason because he always takes Colby's pants off (he thinks he's more comfortable that way), well Jase, you must be right because he was certainly giggling a lot when his chubby legs were free!!

Cousin and Uncle Time!

Colby spent some time playing with Bella. It exhausted him so much that he was a noodle for his uncles. He occassionally sleeps with his hand under his chin. I think it's so cute!

Colby's new toy

I bought Colby a 'hop and pop' at the M.O.M.S. sale. He really likes the toys but hasn't quite figured out how to hop in it yet. He also got a new hat, it's a little big though so the only way he can wear it and see is if it's backwards.

Strawberries!!!!

I made some chocolate covered tuxedo and bride strawberries for Laura's shower. They turned out really nice and tasty too!

Colby's new friend

Colby met a friend at Laura's shower, his name was Brody. He is only 5 days older than Colby. They seemed to enjoy each other's presence!

Laura's Shower

Laura looked like a beautiful bride to be at her shower. It was absolutely beautiful with lots of delicious food and good company. It was a perfect way to kick off her wedding season.

Colby Giggles

Colby was in such a great mood tonight, eventhough it was WAY past his bedtime. He just had so much fun at the fish fry he couldn't wind down! I was able to record a few of his giggles so his Daddy can hear them. Enjoy JC!

Colby's first fish fry

Colby really enjoyed all of the commotion at the fish fry. Not only was it loud but so many people were giving him attention (which he absolutely loves!). The middle picture is Colby's new smile, now that he has teeth he smiles differently (I think it's because the teeth feel funny in his mouth).

Beautiful Views

I thought Jason would especially enjoy these pictures. We went to the Catholic fish fry in Castle Rock. The church is on a hill with a beautiful view and the clouds were so pretty too. Here is a little taste of Colorado for you Jc. We sure do miss you!

Little Annie

Annie is so tiny she fits in Colby's bumbo seat better than she does!

Brooke's Day

I was lucky enough to get to spend some quality time with Brooke, she helped me make chocolate covered strawberries for Laura's wedding shower and also helped with Colby. He enjoyed her company too! It was such a fun day!

Fancy sweater

Aunt Jana got Colby this snazzy sweater. You can tell he thought he was pretty handsome in it with these big grins he was handing out. (you'll have to excuse the greenish looking stuff on the front of the sweater, that is the peas he had for lunch, yummy!

Got to love the cankles

I love this picture because Colby has a huge smile but I also love that you can see just how fat his lower legs are. What a chunk!

Yummy yummy biter biscuit

Hayley told me to give Colby a biter biscuit and I'm glad she did! Colby loved it! Thankfully she warned me they would make a huge mess, boy was she right!
