Little Boys

What handsome little fellas I have! I am just so blessed. I wanted to get a picture of the two of them but the only way I could get Colby to sit remotely still was by piling as many cars as I could reach on his lap. It worked for a microsecond! Chase thought the whole process was very fun!
You can tell by their expressions that I was doing a very fascinating dance routine to attempt to get them to smile. It didn't make them smile but it sure captured their attention!

Apple of my eye...

Sometimes Colby demands so much of my attention that I am not able to dote on Chase the way he deserves to be doted on! When I think back to how upset I was when I found out I was pregnant and throughout my pregnancy I just feel so mad at myself. I am glad that God doesn't ask us for our opinions, he just provides us with what we need and little Chase baby was the perfect addition for our family. I thank God everyday for my little blessing. I found it so fitting when I saw this onsie because Chase truly is the apple of my eye...
Here he is a little later in the day when he fell asleep, nothing beats a sleeping baby!

New House Pics...

I have been so busy unpacking I really haven't taken many pictures. Once I get unpacked and organized I'll take a bunch. In the meantime here are a few of the highlights from our first week in our new house...

Meal time at our new place, we decided to go with booster seats and it seems to be working pretty well. Our next big purchase will be a bigger kitchen table!
My Aunt, Sherri, watched Colby for us while we were unpacking...what an enormous help that was! While Colby was at her house he really took a liking to her kids' fisher price car. She told me it would be a great unfinished basement toy (that's where they kept it and now that they're getting ready to finish their basement and ours is not going to be finished for awhile she thought it would be perfect). No one realized just how much Colby loved that car. He loves it so much it has become our 'dining room' toy and lives right up on the main floor with the rest of us!

Here is Uncle Daniel pushing him around, good thing we have hardwood floor...
the car can go really fast on it!

My aunts and grandma always get together on Tuesday nights for American Idol. They all came to my house this Tuesday to check it out. It was so fun to have them over! My mom was so sweet and helpful, she ran to the store and beautifully arranged and organized appetizers for everyone. She's the best! Aunty Cindy made my very favorite meal and brought it over for Jason and I along with salad stuff, mashed potatoes, strawberries, cookies and banana bread. What a treat! (Bob and Cristi aren't in this picture because they were manning the cameras)

Snow Day

We had a HUGE blizzard here in Colorado that really hit Parker hard. My car was parked in the street and the snow was so high it was hard to open the doors! I had to call in because my little Acura couldn't make it through all of that snow so we made the best of the snow day.

This was Colby's first time getting all dressed up in his snow suit. At first it was snowing and blowing so hard he didn't like it but once he got used to it he didn't want to go inside. The snow was coming down so hard and heavy that I could only snap a few pictures before my lens got completely wet, yikes! So, they're not great pictures but here are a few...

The snow was as deep as Colby is tall so we had him sit on top of it...
It was too cold to have Chase out in the snow so he spent a few minutes in the jumparoo hanging out with Bob while we were playing in the snow outside...
This was the night before the snow, Sandi was over and giving the boys some extra special TLC...
Chase baby had no clue what was going on and didn't really seem to care.
He was just excited it was lunch time!

Big week...

These will probably be the last posts for awhile. We close on the house on Thursday and our stuff will be delivered from storage to our new house on Monday the 20th. We are so excited!!!! I'll keep you updated and post pictures as soon as we get a little settled!

Best Easter gift of all...

My newest little nephew...
ROWAN DRAKE SANDER
Born April 12, 2009
2:30pm
7 pounds 6 ounces

He was born Easter afternoon to my best friend, Jana. It was a safe and healthy delivery and both mom and Rowan are doing great. I went to see him today and eventhough he is only 2 days old Rick and Jana are well adjusted parents. Jana is so calm and relaxed and Rick is super helpful and of course...proud.
Congratulations to you both!
God is so good!

Easter Pics...

Here they are Easter morning...
Colby is very into cars these days so everything he and Chase got this Easter had a car theme...
Chase baby doesn't care about cars yet but he sure enjoyed riding in his new wagon!
Of course Colby wanted a turn too...
Than he pulled Chase around for a bit. That was a fun game for both of them!
My Easter present was seeing my little boys dressed in their suits, they are the two handsomest boys I know! (except of course for their very handsome daddy!)

Happy first Easter Chase baby!

All that dressing up wears a little guy out!I love his expression in this picture, if only that paci wasn't in the way!

Here is little Colby Joshua looking like a stud.
We all thought he looked like a little high rolling gambler :DHere he is proudly holding up his Easter egg, it didn't take him long to get the concept
Colby and Dan Dan

Oh Boy...

After visiting Jana and her sweet little newborn I came home to find Colby bouncing in his crib, naked from the waist down pointing on the floor to his diaper that he removed by himself and the poop that had fallen out of it. Here we go!!! Ahhhh, the joys of toddlerhood continue. Good thing he's cute! And to think it wasn't that long ago that he was a sweet smelling, tiny newborn. They grow SO fast!

Opening Day

Nothing says spring like opening day of baseball season. Colby sat so quietly with Bob and watched a little of the game. Maybe we have a budding baseball player (or it could have been the steady flow of snacks too...)

Feeding Time

Ahhh...if there is one thing my boys like doing it is eating. Chase has finally figured out how to swallow food (hooray!) and Colby has become very independent when it comes to feeding himself so meal time has become quite the adventure.

Chase's first biter biscuit...

The other night I decided to actually bake pizza. This was quite the novel concept for Colby since he hasn't seen me use the oven since we moved to Bob's (almost 4 months ago! Isn't that embarrassing!). He was fascinated watching it cook and ended up really enjoying the pizza. The next night when I asked him if he wanted pizza again for dinner he ran over to the oven looking for it. I guess I better start baking again!
Anything red is saved for dinner so it can be eaten in a diaper and can be immediately followed by a bath...
Here is what we look like when we've finished a good hearty meal...When I took this picture I was just looking at the boys wishing I could just snap my fingers and immediately they would be clean and bathed and ready for bed. If only it were that easy!

The joys of toddlerhood

I have a feeling I will be adding to this post frequently. Here are a few of Colby's new favorite past times...

Testing the limits of the toilet...
I saw this and laughed out loud...here is Noah sitting in John Deere's tractor...
Colby loves to take everything he can reach out of Bob's pantry and place it in a line on the coffee table in the family room. In this picture I was also able to catch him trying to climb on the couch.

Random boy pics...

Here are a few things you can find on a typical day hanging out with the Weber kids...

Crazy haired Chase...With a big toothy grin...

Chase hanging in the exersaucer (which he LOVES) while he watches Colby read stories

Colby sitting in a toy box (he loves sitting in small spaces, something my brother Tyler also did. It's funny to see their similarities. Why do little boys like to do that?)

And playing with cars, of course...
