This is one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken of him, what a smile!

Colby Joshua
There are a lot of pictures of Chase on here so I thought I would include some of Colby too...
I went in to check on him one night to discover he was snuggling with tiger (a shower gift from Aunt Jana, he loves it! It's a staple in his crib)
Aunty Ling asked what we needed for the new baby and I told her I was looking for a blanket like Colby's (it is the one he goes to sleep with every night). She found one that was so perfect that when Colby discovered it he snuggled up with it like he does his own!
Colby and Daddy at the park (decked out in his Sunday attire, Jason says the boys have to save their Bronco clothes until Sundays...thanks Aunty Cindy for the shirt and Aunty Mindy for the pants! He was one cool looking dude!)
Chase's one on one time...
Someone told me when I was pregnant with Chase that the second baby never gets held, I remember thinking...that's so sad! I knew it would be busy but I was determined to snuggle and spoil this baby as much as we had Colby. Here are some pictures of Chase's one on one time with Jason and I...

Snuggling with Daddy, he doesn't get to do this much when Colby is awake (because Daddy is consumed with Colby stuff) but they make up for it after Colby has gone down for the night.
Mommy and Chase Baby at the park...
Clipping Chase's super long finger nails (it's a daily job!) He looks so handsome in navy blue, so collegiate (as my mom said)
Rings on our toes...
Chase Baby
Chase is 2 weeks old today and we are getting to know this new little person...

Hooray! His nasty belly button fell off! He LOVES bath time just like his brother...
He cries when he realizes he's not being held and he has a VERY loud cry. He has a scratchy, deep voice so different from Colby's. When he's starting to get worked up he makes these tiny squeaking noises. His first nick name is squeaks.
He definitely has his Daddy's build, complete with those tiny chicken legs!
He is no stranger to looking good :D Here he is sporting his Halloween outfit from Suska
Restaurant Fun
Anyone that has been to a restaurant with a 13 month old knows what it's like to keep them busy while you're waiting for the food to arrive. Colby is really good in restaurants but we have to get creative in ways to keep him entertained!

This was Colby showing appreciation in the form of kisses to Daddy who was bending down to pick up something he had dropped for the 800th time

Straws are an EXCELLENT baby toy!

Capturing that first smile...
Our little pumpkin...
We had to go to the commissary today. Colby hasn't been feeling well so he needed a break from shopping. My mom took him out to the pumpkins which he thoroughly enjoyed.
New Toy for Daddy
Ever since Jason got back from Iraq he's been wanting a grill. We went back and forth on it but finally decided to go ahead and get one. We've only had it for three days and have already grilled three times. Of course...we had to go with a Weber! :D
We had Stacey, Chad and Landon over and my mom was in town too so we ran out of chairs...fortunately Chad was able to fit into Colby's highchair!
Jason and Chad grilling (this was the first night with it, it was raining and lightning but it didn't bother the grillers!)

Colby Pics...
We posted lots of pictures of Chase but haven't forgotten about Colby. Here are a few highlights from the past week...
Colby is getting so good at pulling himself up and barely needs anything to keep his balance. He especially likes to help out in the kitchen.
Aunty Ling sent Colby an AWESOME singing card (his favorite). The one Nonnie and Poppa got him for his birthday stopped singing the day this card arrived (he plays with that card everyday, and even though it doesn't work anymore he still loves it)
She also sent a wallet complete with fake credit cards. He feels like such a big boy now that he has his own wallet.
Chase pictures...
Chase has such incredibly long fingers, he doesn't keep them curled up either, they are always stretched out.
Happily announcing the arrival of Chase Taylor Weber!
On Friday, September 26th around 3pm I noticed I was having some pretty regular contractions. I wrote it off for awhile because I feel like I've been having contractions since June but by 8 that night they were regularly 5 minutes apart so we headed to the hospital. When I arrived they saw I was 4cm dilated and agreed to keep me. They had me walk for an hour and re-checked me at that point I was 5cm and was admitted. Jason and I were exhausted but we walked the halls. By early on the 27th I was 6cm dilated and they broke my water. By about 2 in the afternoon I had dilated to 8cm but after hours of exhausting labor with zero pain medication I gave in and agreed to get the epidural. I was so exhausted I just couldn't cope with the labor pains any longer. The epidural was perfect this time, I had enough pain control to manage but could still feel my contractions and knew when it was time to push.
At 4:56pm the baby boy arrived, he was a little blue but his Apgar scores were 8 and 9. It was such an amazing experience this time because I felt I had actually experienced the labor whereas with Colby I had the epidural very early and had little to no part in actually pushing him out. I was able to hold him on my chest and get to know him for 2 hours before they took him to weigh him and all of his cares were done in the room next to me.

Baby Feet...
Can you believe it...9 pounds 8 ounces!! I knew this baby was BIG!
Our little brown haired baby.
Our friends Chad and Stacey watched Colby while we were in the hospital. We were completely surprised to see they had decorated for our arrival. It made us feel very special.
Colby noticed the baby immediately and gave him snuggles (leaned forward and touched his head to Chase's). Colby didn't seem to mind the baby unless he was crying. The noise scared Colby so much he starts crying too.
Chase's first morning home, check out those big lips!

Chase's First Bath
He's not a fan of baths just yet
I knew I was going to get my dark haired baby!
