Double Dimples!

Tyler installed his old mobile in the crib for Colby. I always thought the thing was a little creepy (4 hanging bears) but Colby absolutely loved it!!! He could not stop smiling!

Spending time at the Hartman's

Sherri was nice enough to have my brothers over while my mom and I did a Target run (our luggage didn't arrive with us so we had a few things we had to pick up). It was so much fun hanging out with all of those kids that we didn't want to leave! Until Colby had a blowout all over the front of Sherri's sweatshirt! Sorry Sherri! :D

Colby and Spanky

Colby is as long as a wienie dog!

Colby and his Uncles

In another failed attempt at tummy time Colby fell asleep and his uncles decided to join him. What handsome boys!

Colby and Uncle D

Daniel decided that he wants Colby to call him Uncle D. He was so incredibly helpful and loving towards Colby during our entire trip. He even wanted to sleep in the same room with us!

Colby and Poppa

Colby was very fussy but after a little TLC with Poppa he fell asleep.

Colby's debut

Bob was kind enough to have everyone over on Sunday night to meet Colby. He was fussing the entire evening but we still managed to have a great time!

Colby's first trip!

Colby was truly a dream baby on our trip to Colorado. Both flights he was an absolute delight! On the train to baggage claim we had the opportunity to meet our pilots. The kind stewardess offered to take a picture!

Mum Fest!

Mum fest is quite a big deal here in New Bern so we decided to check it out. My favorite part was the K-9 demonstration. They had a long haired german shepard! Colby seemed to enjoy it too. We even got to see Christy there. It was a really fun day.

Tummy time

I have been trying to work with Colby on his tummy time. The problem is he just gets too comfortable and falls asleep!

Bath Time!

Taking out the forest

Right in our backyard we had a beautiful forest...so thick you couldn't see through trees. Overnight it seems it was all torn down. As sad as it was to see it was also quite impressive to see that big machinery at work. I told Colby that if he was a few years older he would have been quite interested too!

Colby goes to church!

I thought it was high time that we tried out a church. We went to a really nice Baptist church. Everyone was super friendly and I'm looking forward to going back! This was Colby's 'going to church outfit'. He was such a good boy!

Baby Hands

Sometimes I get so caught up in thinking Colby is big that I forget how really small he is.

It's so crazy that my hand is almost as long as his forearm when it's in a fist. Isn't it crazy to think we all start out that small?

Tired of pictures?!

After a long day of interviews and doctors appointments we were finally home. Colby was a little

grumpy but he looked so cute in his jamies that we took some pictures anyway. As you can tell...he was thrilled.

Colby's 6 week appointment

Colby and I both had 6 week appointments today. Colby's went great. He weighs

11 pounds 13 ounces and was 22 inches long. Dr. Philips walked into the room and said, "Well, Colby weighs more than 4 out of 5 boys his age!" He is in the 80th percentile for weight and the 50th for height. We were bored waiting for my doctor and snapped a few pictures. Colby gave us a little half smile. What a cutie.

Cute outfit from Bob

This is the cute outfit Bob gave us at the baby shower. He looks like such a little man in it!

Big eyes

I can't believe Colby is almost 6 weeks old already! He is growing so fast. He

is awake more during the day, it's so fun. He loves looking at faces.

Watching football with Daddy

Jason was so excited that we were actually going to be able to watch the Bronco game he could hardly wait for it to start! By the third quarter though this was all that was left of the two of them...apparently we all had a little too much fun with Aunty Laura!
