One use I never would have imagined when we had the fire pit built was that of a tractor work site. It has provided hours of entertainment for the boys.

You may notice, Colby is wearing his undies. That is generally the dress code around here. Now he is potty trained he has realized it is much easier to just pull up undies than it is undies and shorts. We're still working on coming in the house to go potty. At Suka and Poppa's house he can pee on a tree because they're in a pretty secluded area with lots of acreage. We however...are not.

After a little work with the tractors we decided to take the boys to the Museum of Nature and Science. Chase happily greeted the pirate while Colby wanted nothing to do with him.

I love this museum, they have tons of hands on activities for kids.

Chasey watched this film over and over again and kept yelling and pointing excitedly,  "The erf!"

We decided to splurge and go to the Imax theatre.

At first the boys cooperated...

Colby tolerated the glasses for about 2 minutes and than wanted nothing to do with them.  Without the glasses on it looks like a very fuzzy, boring movie which did not capture his attention at all. Before the movie they made several announcements about removing disruptive children from the theatre following up that statement with pack in to the middle as much as possible. Needless to say, 20 minutes into the movie we were trapped. Surrounded by annoyed people and trying to calm a kid who is beyond reasoning. This is a situation we are not used to at all, the boys are usually so well behaved. Poor Colby, he got himself so worked up that he fell asleep in my arms before I could even carry him to the car. What a day!
