We went to the aquarium, it was my first time. Since we've become such coral reef experts (thanks to Finding Nemo) it was a lot of fun. I think it helped to bring a lot of things to life for the boys. Colby's smile when he saw the clown fish was priceless. Chasey wouldn't stop waving at 'Dori'. Jason and I have been the the Baltimore Aquarium and this didn't quite compare but I think it was great for the boys' first aquarium...
While we were there we got the call that Jason has officially been selected for the Colorado State Patrol! This is exciting news. The not so exciting part...he would be stationed in Eagle (near Vail, about 3 hours away). The Academy would start on April 11th. For the first phase (a month to two months) he will need to stay in Golden (where the Academy is) Sunday night through Friday evening. This will be very difficult for the first month because I will be working Saturday and Sunday so we will just pass in the evenings. Once Sandi gets home from school though she'll be able to watch the boys on Friday so we'll at least get Sundays together. We are still anxiously waiting to hear if Jason has made it into the Aurora Academy. This would be much more family friendly, he commutes each day to the academy and it doesn't start until July so we have a little more time to figure out how we'll manage this big change. I'll keep everyone posted. I want to thank you all for your prayers, your encouragement and your time (I know the background investigators contacted many of you!). It will be exciting to see where God takes us!
