Happy Birthday to Me!

The best gifts I could have...two healthy, happy little boys

This is the first picture I've ever noticed my brother, Daniel, and I look alike. My little brother is so adorable, he is totally down for getting into any picture and can snap on a perfect smile in no time. I'm hoping my boys will also inherit this trait!

I'd have to say, 27 was a totally lame birthday. I ended up working the daycare job in the morning, coming home in the afternoon just in time for nap, putting the boys down, playing trains, cleaning and doing all the other things that happen on the other 364 days of the year. Jason got out of the Academy late and has been so distracted with that my birthday was the last thing on his mind. That's where my mom came in. She is the greatest. She got wind of my anticlimactic special day and flew into action. She invited us over for dinner and in a few short hours she whipped up my most favorite meal, bought some cherries (my most favorite fruit that I am way to cheap to ever buy), got an ice cream cake with my favorite flavor of ice cream and even put out the birthday table cloth. She is the greatest. I hope I can be a mom like her someday! I love you mom!
