Tasty Treats
Who knows what kind of tasty treats Colby will find at Suska's house. First he was enjoying some licorice (what a sticky mess!)

Than it was time to enjoy some wafer cookies. He ate this thing in less than a minute and was much more serious while doing so (I think because he knew it was only a matter of time before mommy was going to put an end to all this sugar madness!)

Sunglasses Fun
Sandi and I spent all day today searching for cute birthday invitations for Colby. By the time we got to Party America (which was a total bust) we were getting frustrated and exhausted...until that is we ran across the sunglasses stand. We just parked ourselves on the floor and had Colby try them all on. We were laughing until we had tears in our eyes and Colby appeared to be having a good time too!

Colby's favorite game...
Colby loves to play a new game that we call freeze. I will dance around and than yell 'freeze' and jerk my hands still. Colby thinks it's hillarious and will even mimic me. It's the cutest thing in the world. He had us laughing for hours.

Get that toothbrush
As you know mobility isn't a huge issue for Colby. There aren't too many things that will get him moving...except for the toothbrush! As soon as he saw that on the table he figured out how to get himself over to the table and pull himself up just enough to reach it. Maybe he's destined to be a dentist!

A day in the life of Colby...
It starts out by helping make breakfast (Colby loves to grab as many things as he can off the pantry door when it's opened)
Success!
Than we enjoy brushing all 7 of our teeth!

Sometimes Mommy even lets me do it, I love to brush my teeth!
Just look at those pearly whites!
Than we like to do some bouncing...
And play with Sandi's face, she is so silly
Than I take a little time to show off my dimples
Next it's relax time while Sandi tickles my arm pits, I love that for some reason!
Some time is spent testing out my brand new Britax carseat that mommy got on clearance at Target, I love it! What a big boy I am!

Next it's time to reorganize my diapers! I'm really good at that job!
Than it's time for some exercise on cousin Sandi

Pool Time
It has been really hot here lately (not quite as hot as Iraq but for a pregnant chick without air conditioning it feels pretty hot!) so we've been trying to go to the pool to cool off. This is one of Colby's favorite activities. He is getting less and less timid and even starting to enjoy a little splashing.
Like Mommy Like Son...
Jason's War Injuries...
Jason was on the range practicing shooting when he got this burn on his neck back in March. It looks so painful!
His most recent injury was a sprained ankle he obtained when playing basketball for PT (physical training) last week. He is so tough though, he went to the gym and worked out the next day.

Just Chillin'

This is why we haven't learned to crawl...
Colby is just SO layed back. He is also easily distracted so crawling is somewhat low on his priority list.

3D Ultrasound
Waiting for the ultrasound to start. Colby just loves Pa John's beard. He smiles everytime he looks at him and was even reaching out to be held by him!
Big Tummy
The crowd that came (Sandi, Daniel, Me, Laura, Barbara, Pa John, Caitlyn, Diane, Colby and Jana) You can also see a picture of the baby on the screen.

It was so weird to watch the 3D Ultrasound with Colby (instead of watching Colby. It also felt like I was JUST there! (which really I was, it was almost exactly 13 months ago). It really felt weird to do it without Jason though. I can't wait till he's home!
