Sweet Sweet Summer

Something about summer really makes me appreciate the beautiful land on my parent's property. It is great to go over there on an afternoon when the boys are getting stir crazy. By the time I look at my watch we've been there for 2 hours, the boys are sun kissed, covered in sand and dirt and my dog is passed out in the shade. I never appreciated life in the country as a little girl, now as the mom of two little boys I have really come to enjoy spending a few hours there (after which I am happy as a clam, returning to suburbia!)
