We had a big party at our house for the 4th and I was so busy entertaining I didn't get any pictures. Once everyone left we had a chance to do a few sparklers. The boys LOVED it until Colby wrapped his hand around one and got a really bad burn. So...I was THAT mom, calling in the day after the 4th, asking the doctor about my child's burn and answering 'yes' to the question, you allowed your 2 year old to play with a sparkler? Our yard is finally in decent shape but because of the weather we weren't able to spend much time outside. Overall though, it was a great day and we are very proud to be Americans. Thanks to the military service Jason provided our family will never be one that takes our freedom for granted. We are also continuously aware of the other individuals and families that have sacrificed or are currently sacrificing the things that they love in order to provide us with the freedoms we enjoy.
