Colby's Teeny Tiny Birthday Party

Colby's teeny, tiny themed party was a success. It was a lot of fun with a great turn out. I wanted to upload some pictures right away so Jase could see. I'm super tired but otherwise would have put them into chronological order, but you'll still be able to get the point. Happy Birthday little man! I can't believe he's almost one!

Colby opening presents Colby was clapping after everyone sang 'Happy Birthday'
He LOVES his sweets!
The way cool bath toy Sandi got him

The spread...we had little smokies, min corndogs, mini canolli's (homemade by Aunt Jan), mini rye bread appetizers, mini pickles, mini fruit cabobs, mini banana breads and a TON of other food too...)A giant toy, and what does he play with??? The box!
Finally getting the hang of opening presents while Annie patiently watches

He was way excited about this hanger and cried when I took it away and gave him the next present.
Who would have thought cards would fascinate him so much?
Go Broncos! Thanks for the hat Hartman family!

Grandma Diane gave Colby a bank full of money that she has saved over the past year, she is so thoughtful, the thought the bank was way cool too!
Colby has always been fascinated with Pa John's facial hair

Happy Birthday Colby! (he wanted to brush his teeth before the party got underway so he'd have fresh breath for the party)
Colby loved his organic chocolate birthday cupcake!

It was immediately followed by a bath, he even got chocolate in his hair!
Some of the teeny, tiny decorations (they were tiny party hats)
Colby's miniature birthday cake.
Some quality time with Aunty Ling (who completely spoiled him with tons of presents AND way fun balloons)
Opening presents with all of his friends

Cake time!
The party favors - mini hand sanitizer, mini rasins, mini bubbles, mini gummy foods, mini pencil and mini pen, mini chocolate bars and mini post it notes.
First bite of cupcake, Yummy! It was a great party day, 36 people were here to celebrate with us but we were of course missing the most important man in Colby's life, Daddy...the good news is he will be home in one month! There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I know Jase would have loved to be here and we really missed him today. I will be so glad when he's home and we can do things as a family again. We love and miss you Daddy!
