First stop...the Denver Zoo!

First we had to stop by Colby's favorite animal...the elephants!

We got there just in time to see an elephant demonstration...

Just look at those lips, makes you want to give a big fat elephant smooch, huh?

Here she was doing her most impressive elephant trick...I was impressed.

They are doing a bunch of construction at the zoo. We spotted a familiar name, the construction company uncle Dustin works for...how we wish this could be his project instead of one in Dallas. We sure do miss the Kelsey family!

(he named it that because the rhino at Wildlife Experience has snot in his nose, lovely...)

This male duck is fiercely protective of this female who is sitting on her eggs. I think that is so fascinating. Family ties run deep no matter what species you are.

Colby was trying to interact with the monkey. I could sit and watch these guys all day, they are so human like!

Chasey's Big Boy Bed...

I just had to include this picture of Bauer, he knows he is not supposed to be in the bathroom (his hair sticks to EVERYTHING!) but just look at this face...how could I tell him no?

Chasey's getting all cleaned up and ready for his first night in his big boy bed. He keeps saying, "I a big boy!"

We borrowed the top bunk of Colby's bed, it works out perfectly!

Snug as a bug in a rug!

What more could a boy need? His special pillow, his moon (ie: his bear) and his blankie!

I realize this is not the most flattering picture (no one should take a picture of themselves after a long day!) but this is my absolute favorite part of big boy beds...I can snuggle up to my boys before bedtime.

It also makes it much easier to smooch them! I couldn't reach his little cheek when he was sleeping in his crib.

Chasey did much better with this transition than I expected. He really loves his big boy bed and it completely petrified of being locked in his room. The agreement is if he stays in his bed we will leave the door open...needless to say, he's been staying in his bed! Except for the 3am climb into mommy and daddy's bed, his big boy bed has made that ever so convenient! Good thing he's cute and such a snuggle bug, he gets away with a lot!

Colby's Dentist Appointment

Colby was completely traumatized by the dentist when he was 14 months old and chipped his tooth, it has been a long journey getting him back in this dentist chair without totally upsetting him. Fortunately we have an amazing dentist with even more spectacular dental hygienists that have been nothing but patient with Colby. And here we are, he was even able to get a cleaning done with no tears!

Anyone who knows Colby has seen his characteristic broken toothed grin. When he was 15 months old he was crawling and fell on the granite tile floor, chipping his front tooth. We made two attempts at getting it fixed, both were quite traumatic for Colby. When the second filling fell off two months later (the first filling lasted less than a week) we decided to just let it go, it was only a cosmetic fix and as long as it didn't bother Colby it didn't bother us. Needless to say the entire experience left Colby horribly afraid of doctors, mainly dentists. Our first appointment 6 months ago went really smoothly, until they needed him to lay down and he was having none of that. We decided to give it another go, this time he had a much more open mind. He investigated the tools and reluctantly agreed to lay down and let the dentist look inside. I could not get any pictures of this because I was draping my body over him (trying to hold him from the top you could say...) and singing to him. Chasey could even sense his fear and never left his brother's side, holding Colby's hand the entire time. So, we were successful! Every appointment is getting better! Thank goodness for a patient dentist and staff and for Colby's cooperation. He WILL have clean teeth after all!

The boys were absolutely thrilled to see the Rockies on TV and immediately went to get their bats and hats.

This works out quite nicely for Jason. He sits on the couch and watches the game while pitching to Colby and Chasey.

Chasey will swing a few times but Colby has found his passion. He could literally do this for hours.

Colby is most happy in life with a bat in his hand. As I write this (in August) Colby has improved so much. Jason can only pitch very small balls to him and Colby is only allowed to use his long thin bat. Colby's hand eye coordination has improved so much he has almost broken our windows. I think we are nearing the day that baseball will be and outdoors only sport.

We haven't put Colby in T ball yet because of the age cut off. I told Jason we may need to skip T ball and go right to coach pitch because hitting the ball off a T will be awfully boring for him! I have a feeling I will be spending many hours of my life watching these boys play ball. Not quite the life I imagined for myself (ie: watching dance recitals and cheerleading competitions and gymnastics meets) but a pretty good one. I'm learning very quickly that my interests are no longer important. Things that interest my boys have now become my passions too. Who would have thought I'd have a trash truck collection? Or chase a fire engine across town just so we could drive next to it? Being a mom to two little boys has helped me grow and expand as a person and I thank God for that.

Baseball Season has begun!

It's spring here in the Weber house and the boys are in the full baseball mode! Jason has the perfect system, he will watch the Rockies while casually pitching balls the the boys. This is a system nearing the end though because the boys have gotten very good at hitting and we've had some pretty close calls!

I've realized this amazing way that God blesses me as a mom, on days when one of my children is being difficult, cranky and defiant, the other is a little angel. I think it's God's way of always helping me to be aware of the blessings of motherhood and his little gift to help me stay sane :D I think it's pretty evident to see what kind of day each of the boys are having in this picture...

A Tale of Two Boys...

The dentist told us it's time to get rid of the paci, a day I've been dreading for quite sometime now. He recommended cutting the tip off, slowly weaning him from it. Poor Chasey, he would put the paci in his mouth and hand it back saying, "fix it mommy!" My heart was broken when I peeked in on him during one nap, holding it in his mouth because there was nothing left of it. Finally, after nap he told me he would throw it away and did...only to dig it out at bedtime. It was a tough few days but we are now paci free, the dentist is so proud. My baby is growing up.

Here is a glimpse of my life with a 2 year old, a 3 year old and a over grown puppy...

Colby was especially excited we were having pizza for lunch today. It is actually a food group here at the Weber household.

Just look at those dimples.

And I love those long lashes.

Operation paci wean is, well...going. We started by cutting off the tip of it. At first it didn't phase him too much...

...but now it's reached the point he has to hold it in his mouth. Poor baby. He also decided this whole nap and bed thing is for the birds if he can't have a properly functioning paci. For the first time in his 31 month life he attempted (and succeeded) climbing out of his crib. So I went from having a little boy that loved pacis and loved going to bed and taking naps to a boy that is very frustrated about his paci situation and no longer cares for sleeping...Lovely.

Colby on the other hand is unfazed by all the changes happening in Chasey's life and is just tickled to death that his mom finally bought him a watermelon (the poor kid has been asking me to buy one for months).

Bauer decided he had enough of the Weber house and would like to take a trip (presumably to Suka's) in the car, he recruited one of his best wingmen for the job.

Chasey was now completely fed up with the pathetic excuse I gave him for a paci and even told me he was throwing it away. (Approximately 2 minutes after this photo was taken he was desperately fishing out his paci, or what has left of it, from the trash can)

Two of Colby's absolute favorite foods are pizza and watermelon. It was a special day today because we are eating the first watermelon of the season! Chasey on the other hand just loves his paci but the dentist said it's affecting his teeth so it's time to get rid of it. The dentist suggested slowly cutting off the tip of it a little at a time. I thought this would be a less traumatic way to do it until Chasey kept handing it back to me asking me to fix it. Poor baby, he finally fell asleep by holding it in his mouth. After nap he said he was done with it and threw it in the trash...only to want it again when it was time for bed. This has been a much harder transition than I thought it would be! Lastly, all of us here at the Weber house love to be on the move, including Bauer. :D

Little Stinker

Here he is, my little stinker.

We got super cool dry erase boards and markers in our Christmas care package from Rose. I specifically told the boys they had to use it at the kitchen table. This was Chasey's reply.

Making his art creation in the exact opposite place I told him he could do it.

As you can tell by his relaxed state, he was very concerned about my reaction.

And than he smiles at me with his coy little smile to say, Take that mom...oh boy, it's a good thing he's cute.

Chasey's First Dentist Appointment...

We have a great pediatric dental office here in Castle Rock. Before starting the cleaning the hygenist took time to explain all of the tools to Chasey...

He loved helping clean the dragon's teeth...

But his favorite part was when she sprayed her "squirt gun" on the window. He kept asking her to do that again. Such a boy!

But he thought it was SO funny!

At first he wasn't so sure about this...

...but he got comfortable and settled in for a good cleaning.

The good news is that his teeth were nice and clean. The bad news is his paci (which he only has at bed and nap time now) is effecting his teeth. His dentist said if we can help him kick the habit now his teeth can spontaneously fix themselves. This was very difficult news for both Chasey and his mommy. It's hard for me to imagine how I will take it away but I knew he couldn't have it forever. His dentist was very nice, offering to help in anyway, including giving Chasey prizes in return for his paci! So we left for home with mission dc (discontinue in RN language) paci in mind...

Uh Oh, is 2 a little young to be a Starbucks addict?

Jason and my mom convinced me that 3 1/2 and 2 1/2 is old enough to spend a night at Suka and Papa's house. I reluctantly agreed. This was their first night away from home. The boys were thrilled!

I am learning more and more the depths of Jason's love for baseball. He would go to every game if he could - get there early and stay late. He is a baseball lover to the core. I am his adoring wife so I tag along to a few...

A group of girls asked if we wanted them to take our picture. I said, "sure!" and handed them the camera. As they snapped this picture one of them said, "Oooh! How cute! I wish I had a boyfriend..." To which I replied..."Yeah me too!" Just kidding Jc! I love you! ;D

The burn bunny...

When I was a little girl I had a favorite bunny stuffed animal. One day when I was playing with all of my stuffed friends I decided the lighting looked really amazing when I sat this bunny on top of the lamp shade (while the lamp was on). My mom quickly intervened but it was too late, the bunny's buns were fried. I never remember my mom loosing her temper (she said it was because she was just so grateful the house didn't burn down!). I have such wonderful memories of my mom tenderly repairing the burned bunny's buns with a cute little patch and still have the bunny today. When Chasey saw the bunny he was sure it's buns were brown because he had a poop. Without any direction from me he opened the changing drawer and began to change the bunny's diaper.

Such a tender and loving little nurturer...

Today we had a get together at my aunt, Sherri's house. I was fortunate enough to only have to work an 8 hour shift so I could come too! My precious nephew, Slade, was there. Chasey absolutely adores his baby cousin and loves to help out with him too! All in all it was a pretty great day!

The boys received a very special package today from someone very special and what did it contain??? Inflatable football players! What could be better for two rowdy little boys in the dead of winter? They spent the entire day getting to know their new inflatable friends, tackling them mostly. Although by the end of the day they had grown quite attached (Colby even insisted on taking his upstairs while he took a shower with daddy). Jason said he felt a little awkward taking a shower in front of these guys. :D

Now that Chasey is 2 1/2 I figure it's time to get rid of the bottle. I've tried different methods and this morning I decided to just attach the cap without the nipple (we are down to two and I REFUSE to buy more).

We went to the fish fry at the local Catholic Church. We aren't Catholic but this has become a tradition for our whole family...

We started our day at The Wildlife Experience. Being here always reminds me of my Auntie Cindy's beautiful wedding day (we celebrated the reception here. It was amazing!)

We went to see the dolphin movie and treated ourselves to some popcorn. Delicious! (Chasey is a popcorn addict!)

When we got home Chasey made some time for reading stories...

Than it was time for basketball!!

While I won't lie, Bauer's hair makes me feel like I'm losing my mind...I can't deny...he is an AMAZING dog. He is so patient with the boys. He allows them to lay on him, play with his ears, pull on his tail, touch his teeth and patiently lies there allowing the torture and, I think, actually enjoying it. He is only 13 months old and yet has only chewed a couple of their toys. We couldn't have asked for a better dog.

Preschool Trip to the Firehouse...

The boys had a blast when we went to the Castle Rock firehouse with Colby's preschool class. Chasey fit right in with the other kids, you'd never know he's only 2. Colby was brave enough to sit in the fire engine this time, a big step for him. At one point the fireman put on all of his gear to show the kids they don't have to be afraid of him...they were all terrified. Except one boy and Chasey who wanted to give him high 5's. Chasey looked over and asked me, "am (may) I hug him?" And sure enough, he did! Colby...not so much...

My dinner dates...

Jason has been working swing shifts, my absolute least favorite shift. He leaves for work around 2pm and doesn't get home until after 1am in the morning (some nights not until 3am depending on how busy he is). He sleeps in in the morning and usually can only join us for lunch before it's time to get ready for the next night's work. Good thing I have the boys to keep me company! Tonight we dined with the trains and had a real family meal complete with Thomas and his friends. You can see what a thrill this was for Colby in the first picture, that boy loves his trains!

Aunty Mindy and baby Slade came over to talk about wedding plans, as you can tell by Chasey's expression...we were thrilled!

Chasey absolutely loved holding Slade, he held him for over 10 minutes (which is a long time for a 2 year old to sit still!)

I was 'oohh-ing and aahhh-ing' when Chasey reminded me to be quiet for Slade's little ears....

We were at the Wag N Wash getting some food for Bauer when Chasey disappeared. I was able to find him on one of the shelves getting to know his new kitty friend. This is the most tolerant cat in the world and layed there nicely while Chasey pet him. Now Chasey wants to go to Wag N Wash all the time to see his kitty!

The boys were watching Toy Story, in order to watch it properly they both have to be holding their specific Toy Story toys. Colby always gets the little Buzz and gets the giant one for Chasey. There is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful to Pixar for making movies that entertain the boys and the parents!

While Colby was at preschool Chasey and I went to US Toy Constructive Playthings, basically the coolest kid store EVER! It is a teacher store but has tons of fun stuff for parents too and everything is super affordable! I was busy shopping and turned around to see Chasey had dissappeared and was replaced by a rough and tough cowboy with a horse! That boy keeps me laughing!

Mild Winter...

As I write this it is May so I think it's fair to say we had a mild winter (of course I never would have said that in February in fear I would jinx it!). Who would have thought February would be warm enough for tshirts and playing in the back?! I know I am a Colorado native but that doesn't mean I like the snow. I really think I was meant to be by the ocean!

Family Time...

We started with an outing to the Wildlife Experience...

Thankfully the boys liked looking at the frogs, they gave me the creeps. All slimy and fat, yuck!

My two previous sons and my amazing husband, I am so blessed!

Colby's favorite animal is an elephant, as soon as he saw it he shouted, "My elephant!"

Chasey was not a fan of the people statues, I can't say that I blame him...they were a little creepy.

Mommy and daddy both got some time to capitalize on his fears and get in some good snuggles.

Naughty Little Boys...

It snowed a ton overnight so I decided to go out and shovel...

I thought it would be a perfect day to set up the messy table I bought over the summer for the boys, I filled it with beans and gave the boys some new tractors to scoop and dig with.

I left the boys in Bauer's capable paws...

And went outside to begin the job of shoveling...
When it was time to go inside I went to open the garage door to discover it was locked, I went to the front door to find out it was locked too. I peeked in through the window to see why the boys (wisely) locked me out...beans were everywhere. Chasey was lying in the messy table making bean angels and throwing handfuls of beans on the floor. I couldn't even see the carpet. I started knocking on the door, the boys did not answer. I begged and pleaded and than began banging so hard I hurt my hand. I was getting MAD. Finally I had an idea...I yelled, "Chasey!! Suka is here!" He immediately ran to the door and unlocked it. When I got inside there were beans all over the first floor of our house. Needless to say I made the boys pick up every last one and the messy table has not been played with since.

Mama and Colby

Jason's mom works at The Egg and I. We used to go all the time but our schedules make it almost impossible to go now. We were finally able to make the time and it was as delicious as ever! The manager, Mr. Kelly, takes really good care of us and the boys (always making them smoothies) and Jason's mom always spoils us too. Chasey wasn't cooperating with pictures this morning (so unusual! He's usually the ham!) so it's just pics of me and Colby. Colby was wearing his breakfast shirt, eggs and bacon in the shape of a skull and cross bones, I love boy clothing! We hope to go back very soon!

I had the wonderful blessing of getting to go out to lunch with my mom and my amazing aunts and grandma to celebrate my mom's birthday (I was accompanied by my boys but they did really well). Thanks to Uncle Vince and Aunt Sue we had a delicious family meal at Maggianos (they gave us a gift certificate for Jason's graduation). The boys were good at first but eventually discovered the amazing world under the table. At first I was worried that I should make them sit in their seats but once I realized they were quite and not hurting anyone or anything under there I just pulled the table cloth down and Jase and I pretended we were on a romantic date. The waitress thought we were insane, I thought we were very clever! Adapt and Overcome! The things we do as parents!

Jason got an award for the best shooting/marksmanship, he is such a brat...he knew he was getting it but didn't even tell me. When they announced his name during the ceremony I was shocked! He said he was smiling because he knew I would be so surprised. He recently had an inservice and had to shoot again, he scored 94% and 98%...better than his FTO!

We are so very proud of you Jc! This goal is something you've been working towards for over 2 years...and here you are! You will be a great cop! I love you!

I know, I know...Chasey is almost 2 1/2 it's way past time to kick the paci habit...I just can't do it. I only let him have it at bedtime and nap time, the paci is supposed to stay in his crib. When Chasey is tired and the house is extra quiet I can usually find him in his room with the paci that he somehow managed to get out of his crib. He is a resourceful little fella! He knows he's not supposed to have it so as soon as he sees me he'll quickly take it out of his mouth or cover his mouth with his hands so I won't see it...sneaky, sneaky little man!

The stockshow is in town and apparently the memo has gotten to Colby and Chasey! I remember the days when I couldn't keep a hat on their heads and now they won't take them off. Chasey looks like a little outlaw, Colby looks like that nerdy kid at school who never outgrew his cowboy stage (because his is about two sizes too small!). Anyone that knows me knows I am anything but western (much to my mom's dismay), that influence has come entirely from my parents and brothers. I think it's fair to say the boys will be a little more cowboy than I ever was!

I know this picture is blurry but I thought it looked kind of cool. We decided to go with colored Christmas lights this year, last year we did the white LEDs and our house looked like a runway strip! The full moon was so beautiful. It made me think of the star above Jesus' manger. If God can make a moon this bright, what did the star look like?!

'The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...' You can see Santa's plate...the boys decided to give Santa crackers instead of cookies, looks like Santa doesn't descriminate! All Chasey could say on Christmas morning was, "Santa drank the milk all gone?!" I think a part of him was hoping Santa would save a sip or two for Chasey!

We had a very busy Christmas Eve, Jason worked all day and met us at home to drive up to Nonnie and Poppa's. There we had a blast, catching up with family we don't see often enough and eating AMAZING Italian food. We stopped by Jason's Grandpa's on our way home. It was wonderful to see that side of the family as well, they have such open hearts and are always happy to see us. I really thought I took pictures but haven't run across them yet. Mindy was induced and spent over 24 hours in active labor. Finally, they decided to go with a C-section. On December 21, 2011 my precious nephew, Slade Mason was born! Mindy's pregnancy was miraculously uneventful and she was able to safely carry and deliver an 8 pound baby. It has been incredible to watch Mindy and Steve's transformation into amazing parents...and I couldn't love this little baby more. What is extra special is that Mindy's sister, Melissa and her family were in town for the family reunion and were able to stop at the hospital on their way back to Texas to meet Slade. He made it in the nick of time! I have lots of pictures of Steve and Slade at the hospital but after such a long labor and surgery Mindy wasn't feeling up to pictures. I can assure you she is a BEAUTIFUL mommy! While Mindy is my cousin she has allowed me to be an Aunty to Slade, I couldn't be more honored!

Even mommy and daddy have been having fun with these trucks, you give them a little push and they'll speed the entire length of the kitchen...quite impressive! And just what boys love, trucks!

They couldn't get them out of the package fast enough!

Chasey got a baseball bat and ball, yahoo! That thing has become a staple around here. Of course now the boys are getting so good at hitting the ball it has been banished to the basement as a basement only toy. Colby got a golf club which is perfect because he had outgrown his other set and if there is one thing Colby loves it is 'gof'.

Rose is my mom's very best friend and has been a part of my life since I was born. She now lives in Arizona (and we miss her so much!) but it doesn't stop her from spoling my boys! I remember her gifts always being the highlight of my birthday and Christmas, she is continuing the tradition with Colby and Chasey! We love you Rose and miss you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

It was a pretty brave move taking our 2 and 3 year olds to a nice restaurant but we did it and it was actually a lot of fun. The boys are pretty well behaved at restaurants (for the most part). And the food was delicious (as it always is!).

Our first stop was the butterflies, the boys both adore butterflies. I can't bring myself to tell them that I can't stand these creepy, crawly creatures so I just pretend to like them too.

Ugh, even looking at this picture gives me chills. Nasty, hard shelled bugs...and yet all part of God's creation! I just think how greatful I am not to have been alive during the plague of the locusts. That is literally something from my worst nightmares!

This was a display set up to show kids how trickling water can change landscape. Of course my boys saw it as a really cool sandbox!

Here Chasey is taking off his coat so he can show his walrus shirt. I had no idea there was a giant walrus display when I dressed him in that. I tried to tell him it was an animal but he didn't quite get it. It was so fun to see the lightbulb turn on in his eye when he realized the connection.

I sware, we hadn't been at the museum for 15 minutes before the boys were asking for their snack. Good thing I've learned to always be prepared. Looking in my purse you'd think I was preparing for a famine...seems like overkill until you're miles from home with two hungry toddlers!

I have to say, the walrus display was my favorite. I had no clue how huge those things are!

Both boys were fascinated by the manatee. I was so impressed how they made it look like they were under water. What a cool display.

A close second to the walrus was this hammer head shark. Man, those things are cool!

I really wanted to get a picture of the boys with this dinosaur, there is actually a man underneath that walks around with the dino. It is so surreal when you catch a glimpse out of the corner of your eye. The boys however, wanted nothing to do with him so I had to get this picture once he was at a safe distance and I wasn't shielding their eyes anymore. Covering four eyes with two hands does not leave any for picture taking!

Here we were checking Chasey's pulse.

It showed a full EKG from just the palms of his hands, something I was really impressed by!

Next we got measured. I just think this is the cutest thing ever.

We all loved this part the best, the boys wanted to get measured over and over again.

This was a mind trick, you were supposed to try to walk over the rushing water on the balance beam. The boys just enjoyed jumping in the 'water' without getting wet.

Here, Colby's stride was being measured. His was really cool because he sprinted, you can see the quirky way he runs.

Here is Chasey's. By this time he was pooped and his 'leggies were tired'. His pace was so slow. He is so little that it only measured from the knees up.

They turned Colby's into a video and had it playing on the big screen, pretty cool.

Here is the area that is set up for toddlers. Chasey looked like the coolest cat there, too cool to play with both hands.

They had a little area where the kids could use paint brushes and dig up dinosaur bones. The boys thought this was just an even bigger sandbox.

You can see they're starting to fade here, it was a long day for little legs.

Last but not least Colby rode the anaconda. Yuck.

The museum had a free day and I decided to brave the Denver traffic and the crowds and go by myself with the boys. It was probably one of the most fun days we've ever spent. It was so fun for all of us and the boys behaved beautifully. And for a free day, there was no one there! I can't wait to go again!

I took the boys to the outlet mall (which is only a few minutes from our house and oh so dangerous for a shop-aholic like myself)

They have Colorado's largest Christmas tree which was actually quite impressive.

The boys were fascinated with the giant presents and asked repeatedly if they could open them.

Christmas music was blasting from giant speakers that were hidden in the tree.

Here Chasey is giving Colby a little snuggle, what a loving little brother.

More snuggles, the boys were checking out what Chasey calls, a 'cracker boy'. Chasey loves nutcrackers, much to my mom's dismay (she has always thought they were scary and have been her least favorite Christmas decoration).

The best part was the dance party that my boys started. When a groovy song came on they just couldn't help themselves from moving to the beat. I love that reckless abandon, we need more of it as adults.

The boys saw the workers going back to fix the speakers and wanted to join them, they were afraid they would open all of the presents!

Santa was even so kind and took some time to read the boys a story. We timed it perfectly, the weather was beautiful and there weren't any other kids waiting to visit.

Goodbye giant Christmas tree, we would wave at it every time we drove by on the highway. This was also the only way I could convince my kids to go shopping with me...promises of seeing the giant tree again.

Time for Webers to go...Chasey is trying to climb the fence. I wondered how long it would be before he attempted it.

After an exhausting morning visiting Santa the boys decided to play a little tune on the awesome music flutes that Auntie Melissa and Uncle Dustin got us. They created quite a symphony! (Just be glad this isn't a video!)

First Snow!

For anyone that doesn't live in Colorado, we usually have a blizzard or two by the middle of October (it's not unusual to see snow in September)...this year has been different. It is November 15th and it's our first snow and it's only a little dusting. I am in heaven, I do not like snow, don't like being cold, don't like my plans being ruined by bad roads, don't like wet shoes, don't know how I am a Colorado native. It was exciting for the boys to watch and I didn't mind too much because it was only just a little. I am trying to mentally prepare myself for the spring , I have a feeling we'll get hammered.

I just love these lips.

I can't get enough of Colby's dimples. Neither can his teacher who comments on them everyday.

I was always taught that you dress sharp so your brain is sharp. And that is what I teach Colby. When we go to preschool we always wear nice clothes. We actually had a few minutes this morning to take a few pictures (usually I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and we're usually there in the nick of time). The boys are watching what I refer to as 'tractor tv'. They are doing construction behind our house and while I am sad to see the open space go I am glad that people have work and are able to buy homes in this really slow economy. Mostly I am glad that the construction is happening now, when I have two little boys who love nothing more than to watch tractors work hard. It has been fascinating for me too. I can't believe how quickly these men are working. Jason is just hoping that the homes will block the wind so our fire pit works even better :D
